Welcome to Greenrigg Early Learning and Childcare Setting (ELC)

We would like to warmly welcome you and your child to our ELC We hope this will be the start of a long and happy partnership.

There's loads of research that says children who attend high quality Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) develop faster. The calming and positive influence that ELC offers in fun, friendly and safe environments can help little minds and bodies grow. And give parents some well-earned time to focus on other things, like training, study or work, recharging your batteries - or just getting other things done!.

Click the links for more selected information on ELC to support your child and family:

We will be in contact with you within the next few weeks to give you some more information about joining our ELC and will update this page with more information and resources as we progress through the term.

Presentation

We would normally invite you into our ELC (Nursery) for an induction presentation during mid to late June and await WLC guidance on this due to the current COVID-19 crisis.  This is normally a presentation with Mrs Barrowman (Headteacher) and the Early Years Officer - Karen Gordon followed by a tour of the ELC and wider school.

As an alternative to this meeting we have turned our presentation/induction into an interactive powerpoint with narration to  to provide you with some information you may find useful.
